Why is heat transfer a nonequilibrium phenomenon?

CH1-6: Why is heat transfer a nonequilibrium phenomenon?

answer: The science of Heat transfer deals with the amount of heat transfer as well as the temperature distribution within the system at a specified time. Two bodies are in thermal equilibrium means two bodies temperature are same. But in heat transfer without temperature difference heat can not to be flow from one body to the other. Hence in heat transfer state of the bodies are changed with respect to time. Thus it is a non-equilibrium phenomenon.
